We specialize in digitizing historical archives, legal papers, handwritten letters, and fragile documents with precision and care. Whether you have a single stack of personal letters or an entire collection of records spanning generations, we use high-speed, high-resolution scanning technology to ensure clarity, accessibility, and long-term preservation.

Every document is carefully assessed before scanning to determine the best preservation method. Our team examines handwriting, typed text, stamps, and annotations to ensure the documents are grouped logically. If there’s an existing order (such as chronological letters or a legal case file), we preserve the original sequence. We document any folder labels, binder dividers, or envelope markings to maintain proper context.

Documents with staples, paperclips, or bindings are carefully disassembled and reassembled when necessary. Onion skin paper (thin and translucent) is scanned using settings that reduce bleed-through. Faded ink documents are enhanced with contrast adjustments. Oversized blueprints or maps are captured in sections and digitally stitched together for seamless viewing.

We use specialized flatbed and high-speed document scanners to ensure each page is digitized with crisp, clear detail. If scanning a bound volume, we can unbind and carefully separate pages for flat, high-resolution scanning, then rebind the book using archival-safe methods if desired or possible.

Once scanned, we convert documents into fully searchable digital files, making it easy to locate names, dates, and keywords instantly.
