Unlike consumer-grade scanners, our system was custom-built by our team to automate precision scanning while maintaining the integrity of each slide’s original color and dynamic range.
Our scanner is integrated with a custom-built slide carousel system, allowing us to process large batches efficiently without excessive manual handling.
Slides are gently transported through the scanner using a precision-aligned mechanism, ensuring a smooth and secure pass-through. The enclosed scanning environment reduces dust contamination during the process, preserving the original sharpness and clarity. Whether your slides have fading, scratches, or delicate framing, our system ensures that they are scanned with no unnecessary pressure or friction.
To fully capture the color depth and tonal range of each slide, our scanner employs an HDR (High Dynamic Range) multi-exposure technique. Each slide is scanned three times at different exposure levels—highlight details, midtones, and shadow areas—to create a composite image with superior depth and contrast. Unlike standard scanners that struggle with overexposed highlights or crushed shadows, our system retains the full range of color, texture, and fine details. The process preserves the natural vibrancy of Kodachrome, Ektachrome, Agfachrome, and other slide films without artificial over-saturation.
